Pike County Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions set the rules for using Pike County Busted Mugshots. By accessing the service, you agree to these terms and to use the information responsibly.

Pike County Busted Mugshots is privately operated and is not connected to Pike County, a sheriff, a police agency, a jail, a court, or a corrections department. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, does not provide consumer reports, and must not be used for any FCRA-covered purpose.

Nature of the Service

The service is a private reference for finding official Pike County, Mississippi, and federal resource paths. It does not store official custody records, confirm releases, produce government documents, or act as a private investigation firm. A public-office source, not this service, controls the current availability and meaning of its own records.

Some features direct a visitor to outside search tools. Their results, prices, terms, and data practices belong to their operators. The service does not guarantee what a third-party tool will return.

Responsible Use

Use the service lawfully and with respect for other people’s privacy and safety. Do not rely on a name, booking reference, court result, or partner output without checking the originating source.

  • Do not use the service in violation of law.
  • Do not stalk, harass, threaten, or impersonate another person.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access to any system or record.
  • Do not use bots, scrapers, or similar automated methods without written permission.
  • Do not disrupt the service or interfere with another visitor’s access.
  • Do not use information for a prohibited decision or purpose.

FCRA Prohibited Uses

The operator and any advertising or search partners are not consumer reporting agencies. No information or tool on the service may be used to make decisions about employment, hiring, firing, housing, tenant screening, credit, insurance, licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA. You agree not to use it that way.

Outside Links

Links may lead to sheriff, detention, court, corrections, government, news, legal, and partner services. A link identifies a possible resource, not an endorsement or a guarantee. The operator is not responsible for an outside site’s content, availability, security, data handling, price, or accuracy. Review that operator’s terms before using it.

No Warranties

The service is offered “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, no warranty is made about accuracy, completeness, currency, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, security, or the thoroughness of an outside result. Custody and public-record information can change quickly, and nothing here is an official statement by a government custodian.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this service or an outside resource.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operator and its providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.

Intellectual Property

The service’s original text, design, graphics, logo, and code are owned by Pike County Busted Mugshots or its content providers and are protected by applicable law. Do not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from that material without prior written permission, except where law permits.

Term Updates

The operator may revise these terms at any time. A revision takes effect when posted. Continuing to use the service after a revision means you accept the updated terms.

Access Controls

Access may be limited, suspended, or ended at any time, with or without notice, including when the operator believes use is unlawful, harmful, automated, or inconsistent with these terms.

Mississippi Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Mississippi, unless applicable law requires another forum.

Severability

If a court finds any part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. The affected provision will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable where permitted.
